With touches of gold foil, this painting wa a influneced by the rhythms and grooves of Smooth Jazz, instead of improvisation we hear in regualr jazz.  As I layered the paint on the canvas became like the layers in the music; synthesizers, lite-funk rhythms, lite-funk bass, elastic guitars and either trumpets, alto or soprano saxophones.
